Paris Recette Cachets

A selection of postal markings used by the Recette Principale de Paris and related Paris departure, distribution, and auxiliary offices.
It includes the main 22 mm and 24 mm circular date-stamps with their variations (romain, bâton, avec/sans levée, spacing differences), as well as occasional administrative cachets found on postage.

These examples illustrate the range of Paris cancellations and how mail was processed across the city.
